Been a rough week for me. I’ll be leaving on thursday to visit family, and won’t be back until sunday. New comic. Once I sat down to do it, took about 4 hours, which is about right. Anyways, gonna go to bed, and take a crack at next story comic. Later.

Certainly took long enough… but it’s up! Things are still being tweaked, but we didn’t want to delay the new site any longer. The archives may or may not still have a few issues with them, so if you’ve been looking for an excuse to re-read the comic from the beginning, now might be a good time; and keep your eyes open for anything that doesn’t look quite right.

This is one that I’ve been wanting to two for a while, and sets me up for one or two little ‘ad’ comics I want to do before the november election.  Nothing major or plot oriented, just some fun things to let me unwind.  568 is progressing, and will be up on friday, come hell or high water.   Setting deadlines seems to be an effective way for me to get things done.

Also, congratulations.  You know who you are.

New story comic should be up thursday or friday.  Edits are done, just sitting on it a bit.  Going to work on 569 tomorrow after work, along with the script for 570.  Later.

Forgot to mention last time, I just finished up my first playthrough of Live a Live, an old Squaresoft game from the ’90s.  I’ve been getting back in the habit of playing through older games, so I can search for unique backgrounds and characters for the comic.

May have one more thing this week.  Storyline comic going a little slow.  We a guest comic series starting this saturday that’s going to be running until halloween.  I’ll be updating with some side comics during that period as well, but I won’t be releasing new storyline comics until the guest comics are done.

In other news, the Mother 3 fan translation is going to be released very soon. You can find a link to the release site in our links page. I’m pretty psyched about this.

I was tempted to use forumite sprites for this, but I decided to maintain my professional distance.  Plus,  I’ve got something else planned at some point.

This thing has been sitting on my hard drive in various forms since Joe the Plumber jumped on the scene last year.  I’m glad to have it done, even if it isn’t my best work.  If I get some time, I’ll try to get Round 6 results done for Date Captain SNES II next week or the week after.  Don’t wanna burn out though.
